Saturday Snapshot - eclipse rose

Didn't attempt to capture the solar eclipse with my very limited photography skills but did notice the gorgeous light it produced on the first bloom on the Princess Diana rose.

An iris in my neighbor's yard.

A single blossom in a clump of violets that has bloomed continuously since October.

I didn't think it would ever happen but I seem to have lost some of my interest in reading and in bookstores. This means I'll probably utilize this space mainly as a place to post photos.
