This week, Molly, hostess of the Monday Movie Meme asks, what's your favorite Katharine Hepburn movie? My answer is all the Hepburn and Tracy movies. When I was a little girl, on those days when I was too sick to go to school, I'd muster the energy to check the TV Guide to see if there were any Katharine Hepburn movies scheduled that day. I'd feel that I hit the jackpot if there was, especially if it was Kate & Spence together -- my favorites!
Of course I also loved Katharine teamed up with Cary Grant (Bringing Up Baby) & James Stewart (The Philadelphia Story). But there was just something magical about Kate & Spence.
How about you...any favorite Katharine Hepburn films?

Wasn't she great? I think The Desk Set is the most underrated Tracy Hepburn movie.
Katharine Hepburn was a terrific actress and I love her movies with Cary Grant and James Stewart but I agree with you that Hepburn and Spencer Tracy were something special! I adore Pat and Mike, Desk Set, Adam's Rib, Woman of the Year, State of the union and Guess Who's Coming to Dinner? among others and find it hard to choose a favorite!
two of my ALL TIME FAVORITE movie stars. I have seen all their movies multiple times and I will see them over and over if opportunity strikes.

Love her. My own list got a little wordy but I did love Desk Set and State of the Union featuring Kate and Spence :)
