Alabama Hills on the east side of the Sierra Nevada. |
I collect and provide sanctuary for heart-shaped rocks but was thrilled to spot this other type of heart-shaped rock during our recent road trip to Death Valley National Park.
Don't forget to look out into the night sky tonight for a meteor shower.

That is such a cool heart-shaped rock - it looks unreal!
That's so cool! I have a heart shaped rock too, a small one that I keep in our fish tank. I love it! It gets all covered with moss and looks so sweet sitting there with the goldfish.
That is totally cool!! And we had a little heart-shaped rock out in our backyard for awhile ... I would send it to you but it seems to be missing!!
Who do you suppose shapes these rocks. Cupid perhaps. Love it!
What a cool shot.
What a cool shot.
This is so beautiful.
Unusually beautiful. Is etched or a heartshape opening?
What a unique find. Thanks for sharing with us!
That is so cool! I've been making plans to visit Death Valley....
How beautiful! Did you have to catch it from just the right angle?
What a nice find, I didn't notice that one in Death Valley :-)
What a perfect shot! I've never seen anything like that.
