I still haven't seen 'The Lovely Bones" but the book really haunted me. I guess the movie wasn't so bad either. And I remember kind of making fun of and then freaking out to "The Blair Witch Project."
Ah - the Blair Witch Project - good one! I remember all the hype and rumors about it being a found/unfinished documentary. We went and saw it in the theater one afternoon so they suckered me out of $7 ;0)
The Blair Witch project was hype-city but after my daughter & I saw it (right after Freshmen orientation at UC Santa Barbara), we spent the night at my sister's empty house. It was then that the creepy & spooky nature of the film caught up to us. We laughed about it but I was checking the doors a few times to make sure they were locked.

I loved The Village and was completely caught off guard by the ending.
I thought the village was pretty creepy too and agree with Kathleen on the ending. Thanks for stopping by today.
I've only seen "The X-Files" and "The Village"(which is on my list, too!). Good choices!

This is strange, but I think I enjoyed the film "The Lovely Bones" more than the book.

Reminded me to see the Lovely Bones. That book was superb.
