Saturday Snapshot: functional art

Stylish and well-used bike rack in Eton, England.
After touring Windsor Castle, we wandered over to nearby Eton. This was in late May of 2009 on a visit to London and surrounding areas with my parents. My mother is originally from England.

Saturday Snapshots is hosted by Alyce of At Home With Books.

Love the bike rack! I'm getting so jealous of all these England pictures! :-) A visit is on my Life List of things to do. Just got to get enough pennies saved up!

Here's my Snapshot: http://myreadersblock.blogspot.com/2011/03/saturday-snapshot-march-19.html

I love it! I wish more importance was placed on creativity.

I love decorative bicycle racks! I try to snap photos when I see them, but am often without my camera.

That's really pretty, and clever. I'll look for things like that when we next go to England.

so very cool!! Everybody has the greatest pictures from England...I couldn't help but also notice the quaint looking street in your background :) Lovely!

That is so clever and adds much to the look of the area. My train station just added new bike racks and they are the ugliest things.
