Sunday Stills - blue

I'm participating in Sunday Stills for the first time. Today's challenge is to photograph the color blue. Easy-peasy you think....but you can't use the sky and you can't use a photo from your archive.

Check out what the rest of the gang has come up with here.

Welcome to Sunday Stills! I like the use of lines with the books vs the circular motion of the cat bookend...works great together.

What a great idea for a photo composition. I see also that you have Mary Karr's Lit on your shelf there. I just bought the paperback version and am looking forward to reading it soon. She's an amazing writer and memoirist.

Thanks for the welcome to Sunday Stills. :)

Trish - why don't you join along? Have something blue & a camera nearby?

I just had to get "Lit" (bought it at The Strand in NYC on a visit) when it was first published but haven't read it yet. Are you going to read it soon?

As for Lit I'm just in the middle of Time Was Soft There by Jeremy Mercer but I was thinking of getting to it when I'm done, probably next week. How about you? We could compare notes . . .
