hey....wait a minute.... blue sky? check. fluffy clouds? check. sunshine? check. gorgeous cherry blossoms? check. if it weren't for that monument in the background, i'd swear you were here in nagasaki today!!! I do love me some cherry blossoms....just a question though--do people in DC sit out under the trees in full bloom and have picnics/parties? "hanami" is a BIG thing here in Japan...you should come sometime!!! ;-D
Ah, it's been 35 years since I saw the cherry blossoms. In the past 10 yrs we've gone to DC every other year but never catch the blooms. Must have been gorgeous and inspiring.
Debbie - I would love to travel to Japan and it bodes well that my husband has also expressed an interest to do this too. Nagasaki....is mid-April a good time to visit?
